CAR Consortium
Members benefit from leveraging a large research portfolio with a very limited investment. In fiscal year 2007, an investment of $30,000 (average for current members) results in leveraging $0.5M worth of research funds.The Consortium has already proven to be an excellent forum for the exchange of ideas, often leading to joint ventures and major industry-university-government programs.
Members and Associate Members have access to a resume bank that includes over 50 current graduate students and have priority in directly recruiting internship students from an exceptional pool of students who have received focused education in automotive systems. We encourage Members and Associate Members to also participate in our leverages Graduate Fellowship program.
Members and Associate Members also benefit from reduced fees for test facility use in the CAR laboratory building and have access/priority in the use of TRC facilities. Discounts are also offered for short courses and continuing education programs.
